My Heartfelt Gratitude...

My warm thanks, once again, to those who gave me kindness and compassion during the major depression year of 2007, as well as the emotionally difficult year of 2008. If it were not for those who were so caring as to follow along with my daily life in

shouts_of_joy, keep me in their prayers, or take the time for an encouraging e-mail, note, or phone call...I would not be here in 2009, nor would I have lived to finish the hardest writing of my life in The Subverted War, or to embark upon the fifth and final Geren book, Emissary's Sacrifice. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your kindness and decency!

Women who have overcome difficult times say that the connections they have with women relatives and friends in their lives were crucial in getting them through the journey of overcoming depression, as well as other life struggles. I have often heard women say, "I couldn't have made it without my women friends (or my mother, or sisters). They prayed with me and for me, and their just 'being there' for me was a life saver."

shouts_of_joy is where I'm active and posting almost daily. This place is just a writing journal, focusing on my stories, novellas, and novels that take place between 949 DH (the birth of Heruvael) and 441 AK (a year after the close of Emissary's Sacrifice).
